2016 PINOT NOIR SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS ESTATES

Tasting notes: Santa Cruz Mountains Estates. Ronn Wiegand: “First rate wine (⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕) ‒ Deep red color. Intense and complex in aroma and flavor (tobacco, toast, cedar, cherry, dried blackberry), full bodied, supple in texture, quite rich, and extremely well balanced, with a very long, harmonious finish. First rate wine, with moderate tannin, and likely to age very well with an optimal drinking window from 2022-2027. Its quality is much higher than most 'top' single vineyard bottles from most of the state's 'top' producers.
